Be Confident for Work (Basingstoke)
We are offering a free confidence course helping to support you, through craft, creativity and expression, to understand the effect confidence can have in your personal life.
DATE: Thursday 22nd February
TIME: 09.30 to 12.00
VENUE: Oakridge Hall For All, Basingstoke, RG21 5RG
X 5 weeks: Thursday 22nd, 29th February, 7th, 14th & 21st March. All days to be attended to ensure you benefit fully from the course. Please advise your tutor or admin of any absences.
This course is to provide learners with the confidence, skills and knowledge to apply for roles
What you will learn:
- Identify at least 2 potential barriers to work
- Identify three ways to improve confidence in preparation for work
- List at least 4 reasons why it is important to have good communication skills in the workplace
Who is this course for? Anyone who would like to improve their confidence in order to gain employability or a promotion/different career
Previous knowledge/experience: No previous knowledge needed
How you will learn: Through a work booklet, discussions, group work.
How you will be assessed: Through RARPA, questioning, work booklet.
For the first session you will need to buy/bring: A pen and notebook
